Summary
Shizu is a young man possessing exceptional swordsmanship skills. He travels alongside Riku, his talking canine companion, in a dune buggy. While his role in the anime is limited to a single appearance, he features prominently in multiple novels that focus on stories about him and Riku, with Riku serving as the narrator for all but one of these tales. Later in the novel series, Kino and Hermes encounter Shizu and Riku again, although Kino appears to only recall Riku's name. In the sixth episode of the anime, Shizu is revealed to be the son of the hedonistic king.
