Summary
Afu is recognized as one of the more intelligent puchidols, known for its fondness for playing practical jokes on both other puchidols and humans. A severe glutton with an obsession for onigiri that even surpasses Miki’s, Afu frequently engages in scuffles with Miki over food supplies. The character sleeps extensively, remaining impervious to loud shouting, and often takes pleasure in gloating about physical differences with Chihya. Its appearance changes with the seasons; during summer, Afu sheds its blond hair for brown hair, causing its ahoge to transform into a heart shape. It typically calls out "Afu!" or "Na no!", but switches to "Hanii!" when addressing Makoto and the Producer in its brownhaired form. Within the puchidol community, 1 Afu serves as the standard unit of length, equal to Afu’s body length, used for measuring distances or estimating the proximity of other puchidols, though it remains ambiguous whether the ahoge is included in this measurement. Discovered and named by Ami, Afu made its first appearance in Chapter 1.
