Yukari Takara is the mother of Miyuki Takara and a resident of Setagaya Ward in Tokyo Metropolis. Born on March 6, she is a left-handed woman of blood type O and Pisces, standing 164 cm tall. First appearing in the manga's first volume, the anime's seventeenth episode titled "Iyana Koto mo Jikan ga Tateba," and Comptiq's October 2004 issue, she is voiced by Mami Kosuge in the Japanese anime and PS2 game, with Bridget Hoffman providing the English dub. Yukari generally presents herself as well-mannered, though she is somewhat of a klutz who lacks domestic skills, once mistaking a colored candle for a popsicle.
