Cadis Etrama Di Raizel, known as Rai, is a Noble of considerable age, having lived for over three millennia. Standing as the supreme leader known as the Noblesse, he currently poses as a student at Ye Ran High School, an institution overseen by Frankenstein. Physically, he possesses striking black hair and deep red eyes, projecting an aura of elegance and mystery. Despite his immense power and status, Rai possesses absolutely no understanding of the 21st century, a fact that frequently renders him confused and lost, particularly when encountering modern technology like mobile phones. This ignorance, combined with his surprising fondness for ramen, often serves as the primary source of comic relief in the series. His current existence stems from a deep slumber that lasted for 820 years; upon awakening in an abandoned building in South Korea, he observed the attire of the people around him and adopted the school uniform to blend in, inadvertently following the students to their school.
