Summary
As an underling of Fumiya and a student at Kyokuto, Yoshiaki Asakura suffers a beating when the Oni-Baku defeat their leader. He resurfaces in the following volume as a pawn under Okubo’s control, a situation forced upon him because Okubo has kidnapped his girlfriend, Natsumi. Despite his predicament, Yoshiaki betrays Okubo and assists Onizuka by summoning Ryuji and the Oni-Baku-gumi for backup, a move made more critical by his broken foot which left him at a severe disadvantage against the armed gang members. Following these events, he is seen reunited with Natsumi, suggesting a return to normalcy. However, he later becomes involved in the Midnight Angels conflict, where he causes trouble for the police alongside his gang.
