Summary
The Third Kazekage served as the leader of Sunagakure, although his actual name has been lost to history. He possessed a rare power to manipulate his chakra by converting it into magnetic fields, granting him immunity to all metal-based attacks. By observing the current host of Shukaku, he developed the Iron Sand technique, blending his magnetic chakra with iron powder to replicate the bijuu’s sand control. This unique capability earned him the reputation of being the most powerful Kazekage in Suna’s history. Sasori abducted and murdered the Third Kazekage to transform him into a Human Puppet. The extensive work required for his capture resulted in this puppet becoming Sasori’s prized possession. Unaware of his fate, Sunagakure launched earnest searches for him, actions that are believed to have triggered the Third Great Shinobi World War. The outbreak of conflict forced the village to abandon the search and appoint a Fourth Kazekage, though subsequent attempts to locate him occurred in later years. The truth about the Third Kazekage’s fate was revealed during the confrontation between Sasori and Sakura alongside Chiyo. Sasori deployed the Kazekage puppet against them, leading to a prolonged battle. Ultimately, Sakura succeeded in destroying the puppet.
