Summary
Chuu serves as the true captain of the Jolly Devil Six, also known as Team Rokuyukai. Among his combat techniques is the Drunken Fist, a style characterized by erratic, stumbling movements that not only make him difficult to target but also enable rapid repositioning. By merging his demon energy with alcohol, he creates the Sui Ken, a concentrated sphere of power that he hurls at his adversaries. His preferred fighting method, however, is the Knife Edge Death Match. In this ritual, he embeds knives into the arena floor, forcing both himself and his opponent to balance their feet upon the blades; the first to slip loses, granting the victor the right to execute the loser. During the Makai Tournament, Chuu falls in love with a demon girl named Natsume, leading him to surrender immediately when facing her in the preliminaries. In the English dub version of the series, his character is portrayed with an Australian accent.
