Summary
Hans Christian Andersen is a Caster-class Servant summoned by Kiara Sessyoin during the Moon Cell Holy Grail War in Fate/Extra CCC, and he also serves as one of the Protagonist’s allies in the Grand Order conflicts of Fate/Grand Order. Born in Denmark, he manifests as a young boy of approximately ten years old, standing 146 cm tall and weighing 39 kg. His appearance is strikingly unusual, as his body is covered in scales, burns, frostbite, and various other physical traits derived from his literary works. He wears formal clothing and possesses the deep, mature voice of an older man. Andersen interprets the concept of a Heroic Spirit’s "golden age" as his childhood, a period when he felt most sensitive and overflowing with emotion. This perspective allows him to gain a sudden understanding of his former self; for instance, he may review his old writings and find them so rambling that they cause him embarrassment. He theorizes that this summoning at such a young age might be due to the interests of the "evil woman" who called him, acknowledging that even a prodigy becomes ordinary once they leave their twenties. His talents lie in human observation, and he has a particular dislike for writer’s block, cherishing the moment when his writing is finally complete. He was initially introduced in the London CM of Fate/Grand Order.
