Summary
Coaly was among the civilians evacuated aboard the White Base. After the ship passed the Grand Canyon, several evacuees requested to disembark, prompting Coaly and his mother to make the same choice. Persia initially declined to join them, believing her hometown was nearby, but later learned that St Anges had been destroyed during the war. Due to his young age, Coaly could not fully comprehend the profound emotional distress his mother felt upon hearing this news.
