Summary
Fuyuki Hayama is Akito’s father, a dedicated business executive whose demanding schedule often keeps him away from home. Initially appearing as a neglectful parent, he is revealed to be a caring father who was simply unaware of the strained relationship between his children due to his intense work habits. After witnessing Akito’s struggles and suffering from illness caused by overwork, he begins to spend more time at home. Throughout the series, he consistently believes in and supports Akito, even when others do not, a stance possibly rooted in his and his wife’s own rebellious youth. While typically mellow and soft-spoken, Hayama has humorous moments when he breaks from his quiet demeanor. He also develops a peculiar habit of addressing the television whenever Sana is present, showing his fondness for her.
