Summary
Yura presents herself as a massive sphere of hair containing thousands of skulls, serving as her residence, and wields a sword capable of slicing through flesh and bone but not hair. InuYasha quickly learns that although she can sustain physical damage, she feels no pain and can effortlessly reattach severed limbs using the hair she commands. During their battle, she mocks InuYasha regarding his canine traits. After seemingly killing Kagome with a fire blast, she continues to taunt InuYasha with insults, telling him that a pet should not survive its master. When InuYasha tears out her heart, he discovers she is still alive, at which point she criticizes his rudeness for inserting his hand into her chest upon their first meeting, thereby diminishing his efforts.
