Summary
East Kai, also known as Higashi no Kaiou or the East King of the Worlds, is a short and stout Kai who governs the East Galaxy. She possesses a massive ego and maintains a strict disciplinary style with her students, showing little tolerance for failure. A self-proclaimed speed enthusiast, she is fond of her jet bike and even challenges Goku to a race. Her fighters are renowned for their incredible velocity, with Arqua standing out as her strongest warrior. Despite his prowess, Arqua proves no match for Goku during the Other World Tournament. After Goku defeats Arqua, her final contestant, East Kai punishes him alongside other fighters, such as Chapuchai, by forcing them to run a thousand laps around Grand Kai's mansion. However, witnessing the battle between Goku and Pikkon allows her to finally comprehend the reasons behind her team's defeat.
