Summary
Sora is initially perceived as a relaxed and amiable individual, though his demeanor shifts to become far more serious as the story progresses. Primarily depicted in a wheelchair, he originally spoke with a Kansai dialect in the source series. He shares a long-standing friendship with Rika and the other members of Sleeping Forest. Similar to Ikki, Sora can be quite lecherous, often resulting in him receiving beatings from Rika as a consequence. He owns three dogs named Stone, Cold, and Stunner, a nod to the former professional wrestler Stone Cold Steve Austin and his signature move, the Stone Cold Stunner. Six years before the main Air Gear events, Sora was betrayed by his teammate Kilik. This incident caused him to lose both the core of his Wind Regalia and the ability to use his legs. Despite this physical loss, he retains the free-spirited nature characteristic of the Wind Kings. Although he can no longer utilize Air Trecks, he remains highly capable, managing to keep pace with even seasoned AT riders by using a wheelchair equipped with AT wheels. During his tenure as the leader of Sleeping Forest, he was romantically involved with Rika, but their relationship ended following Kilik’s betrayal. Recently, however, signs suggest that the two are growing closer again. It is eventually revealed that Sora was responsible for leaking information regarding all the Regalias, including the Sky Regalia, to the public. This disclosure sparked various Parts Wars among Storm Riders and allowed him to direct incompetent riders to retrieve the Regalias for him by exposing the location of the Trophaeum Tower.
