Sharak, Sanzou
Summary
Sharak Sanzou is a thirty-four-year-old woman with black hair and violet eyes. As the twenty-eighth of the Arhat, she is one of the few surviving members of the Sanzou lineage. When the Sanzou Ikkou arrives in India, only three Sanzou Priests remain alive: Sharak, Genjou Sanzou, and Ukoku Sanzou, who currently operates under the alias Dr. Ni. Notably, she is the only female Sanzou to ever appear in the Saiyuki Universe. Her primary duty involves guarding the Kouten Scripture, a text traditionally believed to govern the Unknown and the Infinite, though Sharak asserts that its true purpose is defense.
