Summary
Seto was a Shandian who resided on Jaya four centuries ago. A curious and brilliant boy, he aspired to become a great warrior like Calgara to protect his tribe. Although he contracted the plague that decimated the Shandian people, Montblanc Norland managed to cure him in time. Seto recognized Norland as an honest, wise, and good man from the beginning, defending him and his crew from the wrath of the tribe. After Norland departed, Seto eventually married Calgara’s daughter, Musse. Years later, he accompanied Calgara into the ruins to ring the bell. While Calgara performed the task, Seto cared for Norla, who had settled in the ruins. When an earthquake struck, they fled to the village, and the Knock-up stream propelled their island into the sky. Seto finally realized his childhood dream of defending his people when the Skypieans arrived to seize their land.
