Summary
As the prime minister of the Sun Kingdom and the biological brother of the late king, Bardwin Cecil serves as Livius’s uncle. Although he had the opportunity to assume the throne, he honored his deceased brother’s desire for Livius to succeed him. After a rift caused him to leave the kingdom, he returned upon learning about Livius’s fiancée, Nike. Livius subsequently imprisoned Bardwin on false charges of having an affair with Nike. However, both men were manipulated by Nike into resolving their conflicts, which led to Bardwin’s reinstatement as prime minister. It was also disclosed that he once had a romantic involvement with Livius’s mother, Sheila.
