Summary
Ayame Minamikujou is Aki’s childhood friend and former middle school classmate, the granddaughter of the president of the local agricultural co-op union. Her family amassed their wealth by selling their land to an infrastructure developer for a substantial sum. She attends West Shimizu High School after failing to gain entry to Ezono, a fact that fuels her arrogance. Ayame is boastful about her high social standing and appearance, looking down on those she deems beneath her, yet she is not a true achiever, with her endeavors frequently ending in failure. In episode 4, she mocks Aki and eventually Yuugo during a local equestrian event. She rides a horse she has named De Royal.
