Summary
Mimori Akatsuki serves as the mother of Kojou and Nagisa Akatsuki, and is the former wife of Gajou Akatsuki. By profession, she is a magic physician and holds the position of Head Researcher within the medical department of the MAR Magna Ataraxia Research Lab, a prominent global magic industrial complex. Her diagnostic abilities are exceptional, allowing her to identify any ailments in a person simply by making physical contact with their skin. Personality-wise, Mimori exhibits a childish demeanor, often engaging in juvenile games and playing pranks on others, an aspect notably displayed during the initial meetings with Yukina Himeragi and Kirasaka Sayaka. She also has a fondness for consuming large quantities of snacks. Despite this playful exterior, she maintains a serious and professional mindset regarding supernatural phenomena and medical matters, effectively combining a child’s personality with an expert’s intellect. Her marital relationship with Gajou deteriorated due to his tendency to expose their children to danger, a conflict that culminated in the fairy's coffin incident. This event served as the breaking point, leading to their divorce. Since then, she has dedicated herself to serving as Nagisa’s personal physician. The couple had a significant age gap of at least ten years, and Mimori gave birth to Kojou when she was approximately sixteen. To ensure her daughter's safety, she formed a contract with Avrora and concealed the 12th familiar within Nagisa. Following the incident, she preserved Avrora’s body at MAR as part of the Sleeping Princess project.
