Shindara
Summary
Formerly known as Sarutobi Sasuke during his tenure with the Sanada Juuyuushi, Shindara abandoned the group after learning of Yukimura’s untimely demise and realizing that the Taishirou Tokito’s predictions had prevented him from seizing control of the nation. He defected to the Mibu to act as a spy, driven by the intention to rescue Yukimura when the moment arrived. Known as the immortal one, his body was altered by Hishigi to grant him instantaneous regeneration. Although he was defeated by Yukimura, his true motives for betraying his former allies were eventually unveiled. Shindara ultimately saved Sasuke from death, sacrificing himself from injuries too severe for his regeneration to heal. Following Bikara’s death, he assumed a parental role toward Antera, keeping her by his side at all times.
