Summary
Cabaji serves as the second mate and primary swordsman of Buggy’s crew, utilizing acrobatics on a unicycle to enhance his combat style. Upon his introduction, he engages Roronoa Zoro in battle, employing underhanded tactics such as kicking the swordsman’s wounds when given the opportunity. However, once Cabaji is knocked off his unicycle, he is swiftly defeated by Zoro’s 'Oni Giri' technique, which slices open his chest. Following the defeat of Buggy’s crew by Luffy, Cabaji competed against the 'other' first mate, Mohji, for the position of next captain. Both contenders were knocked unconscious by a sleepwalking Richie, who briefly claimed the title before losing it. Cabaji later resumed his former role when Buggy reappeared. During the assault on Loguetown, he accompanied Buggy and Alvida to battle the Straw Hats and the Navy. Although he desired a rematch with Zoro, he was unable to secure one.
