Summary
Rak Wraithraiser is a large, powerful, and highly confident spear bearer who reluctantly partners with Twenty-Fifth Bam and Khun Aguero Agnis early in the narrative. He grows quickly attached to them during the subsequent tests. Possessing reptile-like features, he is occasionally dubbed "Alligator," "Gator," or "Crocodile." Rak habitually refers to his friends and acquaintances as "turtles" distinguished by various colors and traits, such as a black turtle, a blue turtle, or a crazy turtle; this is also the earnest term he uses to address his prey. As a Compression Lisensor, Rak possesses the ability to alter his size at will, shrinking himself down to make movement around the Tower more convenient.
