Summary
Mimi Rossi serves as the mother of Marchelo, the mother-in-law of Edda, and the grandmother of Anzelmo. During a family visit to their home, Mimi presented a cherished heirloom: a red bonnet hat she had knitted herself. Although she initially intended to give the hat to her grandson Anzelmo, he refused it. Instead, she offered it to Romeo, who eagerly accepted the gift. The hat originally belonged to Marchelo, who had dreamed of becoming a sailor during his childhood. He had promised his mother that he would continue wearing the red bonnet even when he grew old. However, Marchelo ultimately discarded the hat before achieving his dream, which he never realized. Mimi later retrieved the discarded hat and wore it for several years.
