Amagasaki, Chigusa
Summary
Amagasaki Chigusa is an onmyōdō charm user affiliated with the Kansai Magic Association, a character named after one of Ken Akamatsu’s staff members. She initially caused disturbances during the school field trip and attempted to stop Negi from delivering his letter to the chief of the Kansai Magic Association, driven by her desire to prevent improved relations between the Kansai and Kantō Magic Associations. Due to the immense magical potential of young Konoka, Chigusa orchestrated an attempt to kidnap her. Her actions are fueled by a deep-seated grudge against Western mages, whose forces killed her parents during the great magic war between Eastern and Western mages twenty years prior. Chigusa’s ultimate goal was to summon the demon god Ryōmen Sukuna-no-Kami to exact revenge, a feat that required her to gain control over Konoka’s vast magical reserves. Although she possesses the abilities to summon warrior spirits and create shikigami, she supplemented her efforts by hiring three mercenaries. While she successfully summoned the demon god using Konoka’s magic, Evangeline swiftly defeated it, causing Chigusa’s plan to collapse. After her failure, she attempted to flee but was captured by Chachazero and is currently held in the custody of the Kansai Magic Association.
