Summary
Akaishi, Osamu serves as the team catcher and is a childhood friend of Kou and Wakaba, sharing the same age with them. During the first part of the series, he harbors feelings for Wakaba, which leads to jealousy regarding the time Kou spends with her. In elementary school, Akaishi was barred from pitching on his Little League team due to his involvement in fights with opposing teams. Although he possessed the ability to throw a 100 km/h fastball during that time, Kou was able to hit a home run off one of his pitches. His father owns a liquor and sake store.
