Summary
Han Shin-Woo is a student at Ye Ran High School whose excellent martial skills have made him popular among his peers. He first crosses paths with Rai on his way to school on the day of Rai's awakening, and the two gradually grow close, forming a genuine friendship. As the story progresses, Shin-Woo becomes entangled in numerous bizarre conflicts involving individuals with extraordinary powers. In each instance, Rai and Frankenstein rescue him and others from the chaos. For their own safety, Shin-Woo and the other students are eventually brainwashed, causing them to forget the strange events entirely. Physically, Shin-Woo is an energetic and athletic teenager with bright red hair and a distinctive bandage across the bridge of his nose. Although he is quite handsome, his lackadaisical demeanor often prevents others from noticing. He is widely known throughout the city for his martial arts prowess, a reputation that strikes fear into local gangs. Despite his fearsome reputation, he is often depicted sleeping and drooling in class, slacking off, and arriving late to school due to oversleeping. However, this lazy exterior hides a courageous spirit; he is fiercely protective of his friends and will defend them at all costs. His romantic history includes a long-standing crush on Yuna. It is revealed that he previously confessed to her, resulting in an awkward situation that left them as good friends, though his feelings for her remain. Additionally, Shin-Woo begins to develop romantic interest in Seira. As a martial artist, Shin-Woo excels in Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido. His physical capabilities are exceptional even by normal human standards. He has demonstrated incredible strength, matching the power of M-24's Infected and continuing to grow stronger through his battles. His speed is equally remarkable, evidenced when he instantly vanished to aid Yuna after she cried for help. Over time, his agility and reflexes have improved significantly, allowing him to dodge one of Shark's attacks while simultaneously launching a counterattack. His durability is perhaps his most impressive trait, as he can withstand injuries that would typically be fatal. This resilience was shown when he survived a brutal beating from Shark and managed to stand up again immediately after Shark threatened to kill his friends.
