Summary
Yao Chen serves as Xiao Yan’s master in the arts of alchemy and Dou Qi cultivation. Initially encountered by Xiao Yan as a spirit residing within a ring inherited from his mother, Yao Chen is actually responsible for the young man’s initial loss of power, having drained Xiao Yan’s Dou Qi to sustain his own deep slumber while awakening.
