Meiser, Carl
Summary
Carl Meiser serves as the student director for Hall B, which houses the rooms of Serge and Gilbert, and maintains a close friendship with Serge. Although he is characterized as an intelligent and levelheaded individual with strong religious convictions, he harbors a certain attraction toward Gilbert. Carl resides in a boarding house located in the city and commutes to the academy daily. Upon Serge's arrival at the school, Carl developed feelings for him and believed that Serge could help correct Gilbert's behavior. To facilitate this, he approached François Watts, the dormitory dean, and requested that the two boys be assigned to the same room.
