Summary
Aya serves as a classmate to both Mariko and Nanako. As the daughter of a renowned lawyer, she harbors an intense desire to join the Sorority, emulating her mother who was a member during her youth. Her hostility is primarily directed at Nanako, whom she deems entirely unworthy of Sorority membership. However, as the story progresses, Mariko becomes her primary rival and target, continuing their long-standing competitive dynamic. Aya is rarely seen without her two loyal followers, Furuta and Sonobe, who support her in nearly every endeavor. While her character is somewhat developed in the manga, the anime adaptation provides greater depth by revealing aspects of her past and exposing hidden facets of her personality, such as her underlying sweetness and sense of solitude.
