Summary
Panput is a celebrated movie star and Muay Thai specialist who competes in the first round of the 22nd World Martial Arts Tournament against Goku. Known by the moniker "The Unstoppable Fighter," a title bestowed upon him by Master Roshi while he was in disguise as Jackie Chun, Panput is the egotistical champion of two major global martial arts competitions outside of the World Martial Arts Tournament. He enters the 22nd tournament with the ambition of securing a third championship victory, though his plans are thwarted when Goku defeats him in the fourth match of the first round. Tien Shinhan dismisses Panput as being too cocky. His bout with Goku begins with Panput making a flashy entrance. When he throws his first punch at Goku, he taunts him by asking if the strike was too fast to follow. Goku responds that it was hardly a significant blow, prompting Panput to demonstrate his immense speed and power by shattering an arena wall with an elbow strike. However, Panput’s arrogance leads to his downfall; when he attacks again, Goku delivers a rapid three-hit combo to his chest, instantly knocking him out. The World Tournament Announcer is shocked by the "single-punch" KO, securing the victory for Goku. Later, during the King Piccolo Saga, Panput meets his end while participating in a kickboxing match. Tambourine appears and informs Panput that he has come to kill him before delivering a fatal kick to the face. Panput is subsequently revived by the Dragon Balls, joining the other victims of King Piccolo and his offspring.
