Summary
Known as Evil Kintaro in the English manga, Makintarou serves as the inaugural fighter for the Fractured Fairy Tales and enters combat without the aid of any enchanted items. He faces off against Hiei in the opening round, where Hiei swiftly severs his forearm before Makintarou even realizes what has happened. Responding to Hiei’s observation, Makintarou regrows an Axe Blade Fist from the stump and delivers a slash that appears to cut Hiei in two. However, this attack only strikes Hiei’s afterimage. The battle concludes when Hiei impales a sword through the top of Makintarou’s head, driving it straight down through his jaw and causing instant death. His character design draws inspiration from the traditional legend of Kintarou.
