Summary
Kraft Lawrence, a twenty-five-year-old traveling peddler who primarily goes by his surname, makes a living by moving from town to town buying and selling various goods. He began his career as an apprentice to a merchant relative at the age of twelve before striking out on his own at eighteen. Having spent seven years traveling and gaining experience in the trade, his ultimate goal is to accumulate enough capital to open his own shop. After meeting Holo one night, he agrees to let her travel with him. She proves invaluable by offering her wisdom, which helps boost his profits and extricate him from difficult situations. While most address him as Lawrence, those who have known him for a long time, such as Jakob Tarantino, the master of his guild, refer to him by his first name, Kraft.
