As a subordinate of Iemitsu Sawada within the organization CEDEF, Turmeric participated in the assault on Vongola HQ alongside Oregano and Lal Mirch. The team's objective was to facilitate communication with the Vongola Boss and execute a rescue if necessary. During the operation, Turmeric reviewed the redacted Gola Mosca plans, uncovering evidence that the Italian Military had sold weapon designs to the Mafia, including one supplied to the Varia. Upon reuniting with Iemitsu, the fake Vongola IX provided crucial intelligence that revealed the true Vongola Boss was imprisoned inside the Gola Mosca dispatched to the Varia. Regrettably, this discovery came too late to prevent the battle between the Cloud Guardians.
