Summary
Mai is a sixteen-year-old first-year high school student with a birthday on July 3, falling under the Cancer zodiac sign. She possesses a B blood type and stands at a height of 165 centimeters. Her journey with the Scientific Paranormal Research (SPR) begins when she accidentally injures Lin, Naru’s regular assistant, and breaks a camera during an investigation of an old building at her school. Although it was later revealed that the damaged equipment was covered by insurance, leaving the exact reason for her employment somewhat mysterious, Mai initially took the role of an assistant to repay the debt she incurred. Following the resolution of that first case, she was offered a permanent part-time position with SPR, where she now serves as both an office and on-case assistant. Known for her sharp observations, she refers to Shibuya by his title, Naru, a nod to his narcissistic personality.
