Summary
As the eldest son of the Grand Duke and a head captain within the Duke's Touda Army, Shunan serves as a liaison to the royal palace, regularly reporting on his father's health. Driven by a desire to prevent the nation's collapse, he envisions a reformed society where the future Grand Duke and Shin Oh govern together through cooperation rather than force. He shares this political vision with Seimiya, the heir apparent to the throne, and his feelings for her appear to extend beyond mere political alliance, as moments in the narrative suggest he is in love with her.
