Summary
A former student of Kyokuto High School and a member of the Madara gang, Okubo is notorious for his brutal combat style, earning him the moniker Eguriya (Slasher) Okubo due to his vicious reliance on knives. He becomes a significant threat to the Oni-Baku, revealing that he had previously ambushed and stabbed Eikichi in the back during a prior altercation. Driven by a desire to finally eliminate Eikichi for good, Okubo engages him in a fierce battle. Despite suffering from a broken foot, Eikichi manages to gain the upper hand, beating Okubo severely and leaving him on the verge of death.
