Summary
Tsukado is a skilled swordsman from an unnamed clan driven by a vendetta against Katazu, the man he believes murdered a relative. Tasked with avenging this loss, Tsukado attempted to kill Katazu but failed thirty-four times. When Team 7 encounters him, Naruto recognizes his poor combat skills and decides to train him. Although the lessons are unconventional, they help Tsukado gain the upper hand in their next confrontation. However, Naruto intervenes and stops the fight upon noticing that Katazu’s sword is unsharpened, concluding it is impossible that he killed the relative. Katazu reveals that the victim was actually killed by his twin brother, Kageki, in an accident, and he has been assuming Kageki’s identity ever since. The Kanabun Gang, who were profiting from the feud, attempt to force the two to fight again, but Team 7 helps drive the gang out of town. Tsukado is also capable of using chakra flow to enhance his sword techniques.
