Summary
Yomi is the newest member of the Three Kings. He previously served as the second-in-command to Kurama’s brigand group before Kurama transferred his soul into a mortal body. Yomi was known for his recklessness, leading unauthorized raids and engaging in direct confrontations that cost him countless men, as he found such chaotic methods more exciting. In response to his actions, a furious Kurama dispatched an assassin to kill him. Although the attempt failed, it resulted in Yomi being blinded. To compensate, he grew extra ears and sharpened his senses to an extreme degree, allowing him to eventually hear everything within his kingdom. His ultimate goal is to conquer both the demon and human planes, aiming to recruit Kurama to his side. During the tournament, Yomi battles Yusuke and secures a narrow victory after hearing Shura’s shout, but he is defeated in the subsequent round due to his injuries. Following this, he departs to properly raise and train Shura, expressing his gratitude to Yusuke for helping him find a sense of peace that he could not have achieved independently.
