Summary
Yuuki Cross, a 15-to-16-year-old girl standing 152cm tall, serves as the adoptive daughter of the headmaster of Cross Academy. She is a member of the school's disciplinary committee, which acts as a front for the Guardians. A decade before the main events of Vampire Knight, Yuuki was attacked by a vampire but was saved by Kaname. This incident caused her to lose all memories of her past, leading the Headmaster to take her in as his daughter. Despite witnessing Kaname’s vampiric nature when he bit Ruka, Yuuki continues to love him deeply. Simultaneously, she allows Zero, a childhood friend, to drink her blood in an attempt to prevent him from going mad. Cheerful and easygoing, Yuuki maintains her composure in difficult situations thanks to her Guardian duties. Vampires are notably drawn to her blood, hinting at her unique nature. She wields the Artemis Rod, an extendable staff gifted to her by Headmaster Cross.
