Summary
True to the narcissistic pun embedded in his name, Naruse Shisuto is a high school second-year student who shares a class with Komi and her peers. He operates under the delusion that everyone around him is a fan intimidated by his stunning good looks, whereas in reality, his overly flamboyant behavior is what drives people away. Initially, he is frequently accompanied by Komitani, who serves as a narrator for Naruse’s internal monologue. Following a beach trip, Naruse appears to develop romantic feelings for Ase Shibuki, though his efforts to communicate with her are consistently thwarted by Isagi.
