As the notorious leader of the En Family, a mob-like clan with immense influence over the magical world in Dorohedoro, En maintains strict control over the group's extensive businesses and operations. He directly commands the family’s forces stationed across various magical world cities, overseeing key members such as Fujita, Turkey, Shou, Ebisu, Chota, and the cleaners Shin and Noi. His formidable strength stems from the magical smoke he generates, which pours from his mouth or hands and transforms anything it touches into mushrooms. The sheer volume of smoke he can produce is sufficient to turn entire cities into fungal matter, and he can even create specialized mushroom varieties that he controls like miniature humans. Visually, En is recognized by his nice suits and signature red facial mask, which resembles a surgical mask and covers his mouth. While all magic users in Dorohedoro wear masks, En’s specific design prevents his smoke from leaking; he removes it only when battling powerful opponents.
