Summary
Usually referred to simply as the Doctor, Doctor Onishi serves as the head scientist of the secret psychic research project and acts as the Colonel’s scientific advisor. He is a member of the second generation of researchers managing the project, having assumed control after Akira eliminated the previous team. His insatiable curiosity, combined with a complete disregard for the well-being of others, is what ultimately unlocks and nurtures Tetsuo’s destructive power.
