Summary
Furude Ouka is the daughter of Hanyuu and Furude Riku. Reluctantly, she performed the Watanagashi ceremony on Hanyuu, acting on the belief that Hanyuu’s death would bring peace to Hinamizawa. She also left a chip on Hanyuu’s horn during an attempt to kill her. Ouka likely originated the legend of Oyashiro-sama’s curse to frighten the villagers in revenge for her mother’s passing. Rika is the reincarnation of Ouka, which accounts for Rika’s ability to see only Hanyuu and their striking physical resemblance, despite their different hair colors.
