Shigyou, Ren
Summary
Ren is a high school freshman who is the same age as Miaka and Yui, and he attends the same school as them. He is incredibly popular among his peers and runs for school president, directly challenging Yui. He also leads a group of students who pose a threat to Miaka and Taka. Ren possesses the ability to control people's minds, a power he uses to exploit those he considers weak. He harbors deep jealousy and disdain for the miracle that brought Miaka and Taka together. He is the first Shitennou for Tenkou, who helped him gain his powers and enabled him to travel between the two worlds.
