Summary
Yanagi is a second-year student at Central High School, where most of her peers refer to her as Yanagin, although the Chemistry Club President once addressed her as Hiro. As the ringleader of the Funky High School Girls, she is characterized by her wild ideas and tendency toward violent outbursts. She maintains close friendships with Ikushima and Habara, despite the trio’s insistence that they do not get along. Her thoughtless and crude behavior toward high school boys has earned her a poor reputation, even though she has many male acquaintances. Yanagi enjoys teasing Karasawa and Takahiro, randomly picking fights with Ikushima, and provoking Habara. Although she is highly proficient in karate, she quit the sport during middle school to prioritize her studies. This dedication to academics places her second in test rankings, behind only Nago, whom she views as her rival. In her youth, Yanagi served as a member of the Archdemon Punitive Force, where she was assigned to monitor Habara.
