Summary
Bulgaria, officially known as the Republic of Bulgaria, is a character whose capital is Sofia and whose national flower is the rose. He speaks Bulgarian and celebrates his birthday on March 3rd. Physically, he is depicted as a 27-year-old male with short brown hair, though his height remains unknown. In the narrative, Bulgaria is an ally of Germany, a connection that seems to drive his peculiar habit of bullying Italy, despite both nations being allied. He made a brief appearance in the first season of the anime adaptation, where he approached Germany and Italy before striking Italy on the head with a stick, explaining that Italy’s face simply compelled him to do it. His relationship with Romania is notably friendly, with the two having worked together in Russia’s house in the past. While they appear close, Romania has pointed out that Bulgaria knows very little about his likes and quirks. Bulgaria dismissed this concern, retorting that he would likely never know them all regardless of how hard he tried.
