Summary
Sorawo Kamikoshi is a shy and socially withdrawn university student who possesses a particular talent for investigating abandoned ruins. While she is knowledgeable about urban legends, she harbors a strong distaste for what she deems "fake rumors," preferring instead to focus on "true ghost stories" that are based on firsthand witness accounts of paranormal phenomena. She stumbled upon the "Otherside" by accident and originally intended to use it as a private sanctuary. However, her plans changed after she encountered Toriko in that realm. The two began exploring the Otherside together, unraveling its secrets and gathering artifacts to sell to Kozakura for research purposes. Following a confrontation with a Kunekune from the Otherside, Sorawo’s right eye turned a permanent blue and granted her the ability to perceive the "core" of the entities that inhabit that world. To avoid drawing attention to this change, she typically wears a brown contact lens. It seems she is particularly vulnerable to manipulation by illusion-type apparitions, often requiring Toriko to break her out of the hypnotic trance induced by such entities.
