Summary
Buyon serves as the gelatinous guardian of Muscle Tower, originally referred to as The Jiggler in the manga. He dwells on the fifth floor, a level that can only be reached by dropping through a trap door on the sixth floor, where General White holds the imprisoned mayor of Jingle Village. Initially, Buyon appeared to be an insurmountable foe for Goku and Android #8, as all of Goku’s attacks, including a Kamehameha to the gut and facial kicks, simply rebounded off his body. The presence of numerous cow skeletons suggests that Buyon is driven by an insatiable hunger and will do nearly anything to secure food. After a grueling battle during which both Goku and #8 nearly became his meal, Goku identified Buyon’s vulnerability to cold. By creating a small breach in the wall, he caused the creature to freeze solid. Goku then approached the frozen entity and delivered a single punch, causing it to shatter like dried clay. Following this victory, Goku utilized the Power Pole to smash through the ceiling to face the tower’s leader. The character is clearly a parody of The Blob.
