Timoteo

Summary

As the current leader of the Vongola crime family, Timoteo’s age remains unknown, though his deteriorating health is evident. Plagued by leg problems that severely limit his mobility, he is becoming too weak to continue leading, prompting his search for a successor. He accepted Iemitsu’s son, Tsuna, as the next head, but a fake IX who replaced him determined that Xanxus was the more worthy candidate. Unaware of the impostor’s true nature, Iemitsu argued for Tsuna’s succession, leading the fake IX to sanction the traditional Vongola battle where those wielding the same ring must fight one-on-one. The real IX was kidnapped by Xanxus and imprisoned within Gola Mosca, where his life energy was drained. When Tsuna sliced Gola Mosca's armor in half, the IX used his flame to reveal his past to Tsuna, showing that he had visited the boy as a child. In the future timeline, he has been missing since the Millefiore Family raided the main Vongola headquarters. He appears in a vision during Tsuna’s training with Hibari’s spiked ball, standing alongside the other Vongola heads and holding his signature Dying Will Flame weapon, a flaming scepter. This apparition leads Tsuna to fear that Timoteo may be dead. Despite his condition, the Vongola IX possesses knowledge of the Zero Point Breakthrough, which he utilized to halt Xanxus’ rebellion during the Cradle incident. Additionally, his official stamp is the Dying Will Flame; he marks documents with his flame to certify their authenticity.
