Summary
Shin Sano is the younger sibling of Izumi and works as a high jumper. The two shared a close bond during their childhood, but that connection was severed when Izumi departed from the family home without maintaining any contact. This abandonment led Shin to feel forgotten, causing him to harbor deep resentment toward his brother. In the aftermath of Izumi’s departure, Shin went through a period where he acted as a troublemaker. However, he eventually reconciles with Izumi later in the narrative, a process aided somewhat by Mizuki. Additionally, Shin’s behavior toward Mizuki suggests romantic feelings for her, though he never explicitly confesses them.
