Summary
Fifteen-year-old Ritsuka Nakano stands between 156 and 158 cm tall and serves as Hiyori’s best friend. She was the one who initially encouraged Hiyori to become more sociable and return to school, earning the nickname Ri-chan from her companion. Ritsuka is easily recognized by her red twintails and is an active member of the archery club. She has expressed a preference for a partner who is tough enough to survive an arrow through the heart. A supplementary side story reveals that she was quite popular with boys during middle school, leading her to wonder what it would be like to have a boyfriend. When a boy confessed to her, they attended a fireworks festival together, but she ended the relationship after he made rude remarks about Hiyori, striking him with her bag. She then rushed to Hiyori’s house to declare that Hiyori was the person she loved, clarifying her feelings as platonic friendship, and promised that Hiyori would be the first to know if she ever fell in love.
